The quote above is so true in little Aoibhie’s world right now. I opened up the blinds today and felt the heat already hit off the glass. It has not been this warm in so long it hit me that we now could throw back on the summer dresses and enjoy bare feet and the soft feel of sand and freshly cut grass on our toes.
Until then i realised my poor little Aoibhie did not have any summer dresses! Off to the shops we went. We shopped and shopped until our hands couldn’t hold anymore bags, sorry to daddys ‘magich’ (as Cadhla- Rose calls it) card. Thankfully we are now set for the sunshine.
I did not take any photos (to hide the evidence of a shopping spree) so instead i took a photo, captured a memory infact. A very rare moment that lasted for atleast 5 beautiful minutes, of Aoibhie resting on Cadhla-Rose’s lap and watching the musical Annie. Although i think the cuteness of this photo is that Aoibhie is more interested in watching her big sister. As Cadhla-Rose would say “this is magich”.
