The fog in Dubai this morning was just crazy. Looking out the balcony normally we are able to see all the kids skipping into Cadhla-Rose’s school, however today we could not see a thing. Thick cotton wool like fog, we were asking ourselves was it raining? Could it be raining in Dubai? Then through the confusing conversation on rain we realised… It’s world book week!
There was sticks, broom sticks and hurleys mixed with cardboard, tinfoil and colourful tissue paper poured out onto the kitchen table. Cadhla-Rose would you like to be Little Bow Peep? We realised (the hurley was to heavy and possibly a little to dangerous to be bringing to school) out came muscles (daddy) broke a broom added some tin foil and pink tissue paper and hey presto we had made a staff for Little Bow Peep. She had a wonderful day in school filled with all the Mr Men characters, Alice in Wonderland, a Few Ballerinas and our Favourite of them all- Dr Seuss characters.
The fog cleared around lunch time and out came the beautiful sunshine. Myself and Aoibhie-Faith enjoyed a tea party with her teddys and our puppy Minnie. We got to enjoy the sun on our feet to some wiggles music and open up her new fat crayons (which i think were invented for her chubby hands).
Hoping everyone around the world enjoyed some toasty sun on their toes at one point today?
